We know it’s been a while but we’re back with another Furry Friend Friday interview!  Meet Nate, this 1 and a half year old guy is looking for his forever time just in time for the holidays!  He’s a tuxedo cat so he’s always dressed to impress and loves being around people! Nate is up for adoption at the Lowell Humane Society and would love for you to stop by and pay him a visit!

So Nate, what’s your favorite way to spend the day?

Well I’m still young so I love to play, I even get along with dogs and other cats!  I also love being around people and one of my other favorite things to do is to curl up next to someone and be petted.

Do you have any favorite toys to play with?

Well I love those balls with the feathers on them, they’re really fun to chase around!  I also enjoy the catnip toys we have here in the shelter.

What about a favorite treat?

I absolutely LOVE those Greenie treats, they aren’t just for dogs, they make them for cats too!  Not only do they taste great, they’re good for my teeth!

Is there anything you’re afraid of?

Not really, I’m a pretty independent guy, I go right up to people, dogs, and cats.  I’m not shy or anything and nothing makes me too nervous.  The only thing that makes me a bit nervous is being inside a cat carrier, I just don’t like being inside a cage and not knowing where I’m going, it can be a little scary!

What do you think would be the perfect family for you?

I get along with almost everyone so I feel like I would really fit in anywhere! I love people, kids, and even other animals as long as they’re friendly!  Whether I end up with a family, young couple, or a retiree, I would be happy to have any home for the holidays!  Us black cats tend to get overlooked sometimes, something about being bad luck, can you believe that?  It would make me so happy to find my forever family this holiday season!
